About the event
Discover the rich heritage of the Chesapeake Bay in our immersive camp: Life on the Chesapeake Bay! Campers will explore the Bay’s vibrant history, from early settlements to modern conservation efforts. They'll learn the time-honored traditions of the waterman, including crabbing, oystering, and boat navigation. Hands-on activities and guest speakers bring the Bay’s culture and seafood harvesting to life. Join us for a fun and educational experience that celebrates the people, practices, and natural beauty of the Chesapeake!
